Information about Carnival
Things to know:
1. North Star students, parents, and family always enjoy our fun themed baskets that are available to win through a raffle. Please sign up to help shop for one (or more) of the many baskets we will be raffling off at the end of Carnival. (Each basket has a budget and you will be reimbursed for your purchases.) 2. In order to have our fantastic baskets at the carnival, we need to provide a budget for our shoppers. Please use the following form (or donate online) to donate to our baskets. The prize for each student in the highest donating class in each grade will receive 10 tickets to carnival.
3. If you own a business and would like to donate to one of our baskets or to our silent auction, please email Kristen Dassel (email@example.com).
4. Get ready for a fun filled family night on April 3, 2020 at North Star's Annual Carnival. Save time and pre-order your tickets (paper form OR online). Please consider joining the PTA. Single memberships are $10 and two parent/guardian memberships are $15. Additional membership levels are $25 and $50. By joining the PTA, some of your money goes to the many activities, assemblies, etc that are provided for the kids of North Star by the PTA. Complete the membership form or you can pay online on the North Star PTA Cheddar Up. Joining doesn't mean you have to volunteer. It helps the kids, but if you would like to volunteer, there will be many opportunities throughout the year. Please contact Kristen Dassel
Did you know Box tops has an app! You register for free on the website, download the app, buy products, scan your receipt and our school earns money. It’s very simple! For more information check out the Box Tops website at www.boxtops4education.com. Two local grocery stores have a program for box tops. Acme's program is called Growing Local Learning and Shop Rite's program is called Shop Rite for my School.
