National PTA Reflections Program
The North Star PTA is inviting all teachers and parents to encourage their students to participate in the National PTA Reflections Program. This year’s theme is “What is Your Story?" Teachers can link this year's theme to work that is already being done in the classroom. For instance, teachers may consider having a poetry, creative writing, or drawing project in class as it pertains to the theme. Parents can encourage their children to tap into their creative spirit to showcase their talents.
Students can submit entries in any of the following six categories: literature, visual arts, photography, music, dance, or video/film production. The competition is judged primarily on how well the individual student uses his or her artistic vision to portray the theme.
For additional information and forms click here.
