North Star Elementary School is a family of learners dedicated to nurturing the mind, body and spirit of each child by encouraging intellectual growth, developing character, and instilling a love of learning.
At North Star we are committed to creating a caring, nurturing environment, where all children achieve to their fullest potential, as they are actively engaged in exemplary instruction tailored to individual needs.
We hope all our families take this unexpected time at home to spend time together. Go for a walk, play a game, watch a movie, and of course practice your math and read every day! Some things you can do: keep checking back for updates, order your year book (see below for cheddar up link), and order your school supply kit for the 2020-2021 school year. Follow us on Facebook for virtual spirit week ideas. North Star staff misses you, too. Watch their video.

Join the PTA!
Please consider joining the PTA. Single memberships are $10 and two parent/guardian memberships are $15. Additional membership levels are $25 and $50. By joining the PTA, some of your money goes to the many activities, assemblies, etc that are provided for the kids of North Star by the PTA. Complete the membership form or you can pay online on the North Star PTA Cheddar Up. Joining doesn't mean you have to volunteer. It helps the kids, but if you would like to volunteer, there will be many opportunities throughout the year. Please contact Kristen Dassel
Did you know Box tops has an app! You register for free on the website, download the app, buy products, scan your receipt and our school earns money. It’s very simple! For more information check out the Box Tops website at www.boxtops4education.com. Two local grocery stores have a program for box tops. Acme's program is called Growing Local Learning and Shop Rite's program is called Shop Rite for my School.
Please support the PTA while shopping on Amazon by using Amazon Smile. Shopping through Amazon Smile is the same as shopping via Amazon but with the added bonus 0.5% of the purchase price being donated to the PTA.
