Upcoming Events

November 3rd to 17th
Our school has teamed up once again with Original Works to offer a very special program that is widely liked and appreciated every year: Your very own artwork on products for you and your family !
The children have created beautiful artwork in Mrs. Slesinski's Art Class and we are currently setting up an online Art Gallery.
North Star families will view the Gallery, enjoy an online School Art Show, and will have the opportunity to order keepsakes featuring their child's artwork.
Families will purchase keepsakes online from home from November 3rd to 17th.
More details coming home soon.

Thursday Oct. 23 5:30-8:00 PM
Start practicing your dance moves for this fun family event sponsored by the PTA. Admission is free, and we'll have some refreshments for sale. Children must be accompanied by an adult (younger and older siblings are welcome).
Monday October 27 7:00 PM
Agenda items will include a presentation about Cyber-bullying by Red Clay's Safety Director, Brian Moore. We'll also host another parent volunteer training session presented by the school's administrators.

Mrs. Minchini needs help checking books in and out, helping children find books, shelving books, doing inventory and helping organize the library. You can sign up for as many (or few!) hours as you wish. You are welcome to volunteer during your child’s library time, but this is not mandatory. Sign Up here. You must complete the school's mandatory parent volunteer training (October 17 from 9:10-9:30 AM or our October 27 PTA meeting) prior to volunteering at the library.

Credit Card Donations to PTA
In order to reduce overhead costs, the PTA is switching to using Network for Good exclusively for credit card gifts. Set up your account here, and you can make gifts to the PTA online all year long.

If you've got great photos of school and community events or you and your friends just having fun, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.
