Fundraiser NEWS
North Star PTA has been chosen by Acme in Lantana Square to receive $1 for every $3 reusable bag purchased during the month of November.  Acme's program asks each Acme to chose a "well known organization that helps people in the community" and we were chosen!  If you do not see the "Acme Give Back Where it Counts" bag, ask at customer service.

This Month's PTA Meeting
Thank you to everyone who attended our first PTA meeting.  Our next PTA meeting is Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 7pm.  We will be looking at budget updates, reviewing Spirit Fest, and discussing upcoming events: Fall Dance and Book Fair.

Library Volunteers Needed!
Please come help Mrs. Minchini out in the North Star Library.
She needs help checking books in and out, shelving books and helping children find books. Please use sign up genius to volunteer.  Please direct any questions to Carter Bowersox.

Our 5th graders have been invited to sing at the Delaware Blue Coats game on Friday, February 21, 2020.  Ms. Walder, the music teacher needs to know if you can come by Friday, October 25, 2019 in order to take advantage of the group rate of $12 per ticket.  Print this form and send it in with your child and your payment. If you have any questions, email Ms. Walder.

HB duPont Middle School would like to invite all 4th and 5th grade parents and children to visit their Choice Open House on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 6-8pm.

Join the PTA!
Please consider joining the PTA. Single memberships are $10 and two parent/guardian memberships are $15. Additional membership levels are $25 and $50.  By joining the PTA, some of your money goes to the many activities, assemblies, etc that are provided for the kids of North Star by the PTA. Complete the membership form or you can pay online on the North Star PTA Cheddar Up.
Joining doesn't mean you have to volunteer. It helps the kids, but if you would like to volunteer, there will be many opportunities throughout the year. Please contact Kristen Dassel
