The North Star PTA supports our school by providing funds for instructional materials, school improvement projects, family activities and various educational programs. Members are required to re-enroll each year in order to stay active in the PTA. Membership is $10 for one adult and $15 for two adults. Help us achieve 100% participation! Complete this form to join.

2015 NORTH STAR CARNIVAL
Planning for the 2015 carnival is in high gear! Basket auction shoppers are busy creating baskets you'll love to win. Basket preview week is March 16-20, and tickets sales start this week.

This year sees the return of the “cake walk” and to make this successful we are asking for donations of store bought cakes / baked goods. To donate click here.

Parent Volunteer Training
Parent Volunteer Training Workshops will be offered at the conclusion of all PTA meetings throughout the year. The PTA meeting schedule is as follows:
4/14/15 @ 9:15am, 5/18/15 @7:00pm
Volunteers who will be working with small groups or individual students are required to attend a training workshop. This training is not required for parents who will be Mystery Readers readers and read-around volunteers. Volunteers for PTA-sponsored events do not require this training unless otherwise specified.
Mrs. Minchini needs help checking books in and out, helping children find books, shelving books, doing inventory and helping organize the library. Sign Up here. You must complete the school's mandatory parent volunteer training at a PTA meeting prior to volunteering at the library.

Credit Card Donations to PTA
In order to reduce overhead costs, the PTA is switching to using Network for Good exclusively for credit card gifts. Set up your account here, and you can make gifts to the PTA online all year long.
Parents need to PARK, come in to building and sign out child(ren) from assigned classroom/area promptly at 4:45pm. LAUNCH has been extended 1 week to make up for a snow day. You can use this Note to School on March 24.
