Proceeds from all of these help fund school and PTA programs.  For further details click here.

This year we are excited to be inviting all North Star staff members to complete an "Adopt a teacher / wish list" form which once completed will be held a binder in the main office. The plan being if you are looking for ideas of what to buy a teacher for their homeroom or themselves, it is a great place to start.

Also please remember that all teachers are grateful for donations of kitchen towel, tissues, hand soaps, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant wipes. They may no longer be on supply lists but they will most definitely be used and appreciated.

Details of school supplies by grade for the 2015-2016 school year can be found here.

UPDATE - We have had a request from the second grade team to kindly ask for rising second graders to add a soft pencil case to their supply list and that the two plastic 3-prong folders be green and blue - thank you.

Orders are now being taken for our Fall Spirit Wear Sale. All checks to be made payable to North Star PTA.
Orders are due by September 1st to have orders delivered via the school in time for Spirit Fest.

For details on the Fall Launch programs and registration visit our Launch page.  Registration closes September 8th.

Please consider volunteering to be a committee chair for 2015/16. We need a Red Clay Parent Association Rep. If you are interested or would like any further details, please contact Ann Pollock

PARENT VOLUNTEER TRAINING 2015-2016: Message from the Principal
"Volunteer Packets and attendance at a Volunteer Orientation training session are required for:
· Classroom volunteers
· Field trip chaperones (off-site and on-site)
· Mystery readers
· Parents as Players / Parents as Reading Buddies
· Library volunteers

Volunteer Packets must be completed each year, in accordance with District and State regulations, and are available from the school office or click here.
Individuals who attended a Volunteer Orientation training in 2014-2015 are not required to attend again for 2015-2016, as the content of this presentation is unchanged. Rather, a one-page summary of all pertinent information will be sent home for your review and reference.

We ask that parent volunteers refrain from bringing younger siblings into school, as this may be disruptive to the learning."
